Strategic Facilitation Certificate

An effective facilitator fosters consensus, steers conversation, and encourages group engagement. In only nine weeks, learn to successfully conduct focus groups, strategic planning, panel discussions, meetings, team conflicts resolution, and round table discussions. Led by an expert instructor, this online certificate is designed to help you practice new facilitation skills and enhanced communication styles that you can apply to your next meeting.

Part 1: Fundamentals
In the first two weeks of the course, you and your peers prepare introductions and complete self-paced assignments necessary to meet the core course component.

Part 2: Building your Facilitation Skills
This part of the course consists of five live online instructor-led sessions, each from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET.

Raquel Perez earned a B.A. in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Trinity International University, a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and her Ph.D. (ABD) in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University.

Professor Perez is a Conflict Resolution Consultant with seven years experience in leadership development and organizational design. She has collaborated on projects that focused on organizational conflict, change management, learning systems, grassroots movements, talent optimization, and global engagement. Her research interests are communication, conflict and critical thinking.
